10 principles of GMP

  9. Complaints and recalls. The organization should have a system in place to handle complaints and to recall products that do not meet quality standards.
  10. Documentation. All relevant documentation should be maintained to ensure that the manufacturing process is properly controlled.

These principles are designed to ensure that products are consistently produced to meet quality standards and that consumers are protected from harm.

In addition to the 10 principles, there are also a number of elements of GMP, which include:

  • Quality management: This includes the organization's overall approach to quality, including its quality policy, objectives, and procedures.
